BICS is designed to reduce electricity costs for eligible manufacturing businesses in Great Britain, with support determined by the activities and products manufactured and the proportion of electricity associated with eligible production.
Alongside BICS, qualifying manufacturers may also be able to access support through the Energy Intensive Industries (EII) schemes, including EII Exemption and Network Charging Compensation (NCC).
